About Abi Shek

Abi Shek (born 1965 in Rehovot, Israel) is a visual artist who has lived and worked in Germany since the 1990s. The central theme of his work is the relationship between humans and animals: in reduced, archetypal forms he explores the reflections and intersections between both worlds. His works combine archaic pictorial power with a clear, contemporary mode of expression.
